Job Description

Communications Officer

This position is responsible for internal and external communications on the behalf of NCI. They are the primary contact for any issues arising or queries related to NCI as a whole.

PLACE HOLDER!!! This position is a member of the Board of Directors.

Responsibilities include but not necessarily limited to:

  1. External communications
    • Writing press releases
    • Handling and negotiating with third party publications such as magasines, newspapers, blogs and online articles.
    • Initiating and maintaining good communications with third parties
  2. Internal communications
    • Initiating and maintaining good communications within NCI.
    • Creating and distributing notices within NCI
    • Initiating and managing intra-level meetings.
  3. Internal and external communications
    • Answering questions
    • Creating and providing materials designed to transmits NCI's core and key messages

  2. Good time management
